When the going gets tough, the smart quit

After a lot of reflection, I decided to quit my job yesterday. I honestly feel like I should have done it ages ago. I stuck it out because I felt like that was what I should do. But it just was a bad situation, and honestly, there are jobs in my field that I would be better equipped to do and would enjoy much more.

I applied for a job working with children in Special Education. I've done the job before. Unfortunately, there is a hiring freeze on my previous job. This might be a good thing though because it means I might go for a different, more challenging job instead. I'm not sure. These things will figure themselves out, I'm sure.
